Rated 5 out of 5 by from Saved my eye I have been wearing Gascans from Oakley for four years now. Working construction about two years ago I had them on while running a 4 inch hole saw at an awkward upside down angle. At one point the drill caught on a screw and ran off the wood directly into my face. It hit the nose bridge of the frame and the right lens hard and dug the teeth nearly through the frame and through the lens in a couple spots. I fell from the ladder and was nearly knocked unconscious by the impact. The frame of the oakleys stood up to the impact and spread the pressure out across my face preventing my nose from breaking. I owe my good looks and my vision to this company and will always stand by them and buy thier products. Get yours today!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Oakley Gascan Overall I like the look of the glasses, but I did not take into consideration the type of person I am. Fist off I sweat and live in the high desert. There is no rubber on the arms nor nose bridge of the sunglasses. Second the glasses are very loose in the temple area unlike my Oakley Half Jackets. The combination of both these problems cause my glasses to fall off my face quite often, resulting in falling to the ground and scratching the lenses. I have been an loyal Oakley customer for the past 20 years and love the company and their products. I just chose the wrong sun glasses for me. I hope I can prevent someone from making the same mistake I did.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Happy Motorcyclist I have always been a Oakley M Frame wearer Since Marine Corps. I was out on a Call during my LEO job when I lost or Someone helped themselves to my M-Frames. I saw the Gascan's knew right away I like the look. But after I put them on my face it was love at first fit. They were so comfortable and the optics was point on. The Ride home was in the Rush of the day and the Mississippi sun was doing its job. I notice the true comfort, Clarity and function of the Gascan's. They won my approval and that ain't Easy, I have always heard the term Marine Proof! We will see and another review will be added later.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Best sunglasses that I've ever owned I actually found my glasses in a parking lot. They looked as though they had been run over as one of the arms was off. I popped it back on and bought some new lenses for them. That was 4 years ago. This is one of my favorite styles of sunglasses and the comfort is amazing. They have stood up to drop after drop and even took a tree limb to the ear/face. The glasses held up well (my ear, not so much). 4 stars ONLY due to the fact that I think these glasses would benefit from a rubber or foam pad on the inside of the arms to help them stay on better.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from the best ok, so ive owned the polarized gas cans since my days in the military. they got me through 4 deployments in 5 years around the world. i lost my beloved shades a year ago (been out of the mil for a couple years now). it hurt me to even think about replacing them bc i had such a fond attachment to them. they were apart of me and my go to eye pro and i wouldn't leave home, hooch, safehouse, boat, anywhere, without them. i finally replaced them a few weeks back. and it brought back a lot of memories but more importantly it made me realize how good these frames and lenses are. i love them, seriously. they make my life a helluva lot easier for whatever reason. theyre pricey but worth every penny, theyre keepers. but i'll be wearing these into my grave.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Totally worth it For years I use to wear cheap walmart polarized sun glasses & they weren't bad, but I'd wind up buying a new pair every couple of monthes because they kept scratching or breaking & then one day I decided that if I ever found a sale for Oakleys I wouldn't hesitate & it was totally worth it, even though my glasses aren't Polarised they still reduce glare better than a cheap pair, they look great on me, & they're almost indestructible, it's been 2 years & I've never scratched a lens or broke a pair.I know they're pricey, but they live up to the hype & if you think about it I might have spent more on cheap glasses than I did on oakley, so for me it was worth the investment.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poor quality product I bought these glasses about a month ago. I received them and at first glance they looked nice. After holding them, I noticed that they feel cheap and not very durable. After wearing these glasses just ONE day, the hinge breaks on the arm of the glasses while taking them off! I cant give a full review on the quality of the optics due to being unable to wear the glasses. But the optics did seem to be clear and nice. Furthermore, Oakleys warranty process is all online and you will be notified to utilize the online service via an automated message if you call. So far, customer service has been extremely slow to return my emails and I am yet to be able to send these back. Very unimpressed with Oakley at this time.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Bring back the Gascan S Bought the Gascan S (small) about 10 years ago and have worn them everyday and they are the greatest! Considering the time I have had them they have held up extremely well! Time is now taken a toll on them and would like a newer set of glasses. Unfortunately the "S" version is discontinued and I do not like the look of the regular Gascan's or any other glasses for that matter. Bring back the Gascan S!!!
