Rated 1 out of 5 by from Don't Buy These Sunglasses My Oakley glasses are less than two weeks old and the coating is already starting to peel away. I took them into the retailer and instead of replacing the product or offering a refund onsite was told I need to go through the Oakley warranty repair process. This is a third party company. What a disappointment after spending two hundred dollars on a pair of sunglasses. Before I could get them in a box to send for repair/replacement a hairline crack has begun to form on the left lens. These glasses have been diligently cared for and NEVER dropped. I may never own another pair of Oakleys again if this is the quality to be expected.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Lenses are chipping away after 2 months WOW!!! after reading the other reviews i wish i had gone with the hybrid option. Unfortunately i am also dealing with the fracturing of the lenses. I have only had my metals for 2 months and keep them in a hard case since they are more fragile than the normal model. No scratches on them whatsoever and my lenses are cracked are you kidding me. I am so upset to have spent 200+ on these and for them to only last 2 months is not right i love oakley and really hop the do something to rectify this issue. Or is this just a tactic to make us buy another pair????

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Very poor design I got these because they looked and felt great. After 3 months, the microscopically thin lip around the lens edge cracked and the lens fell out. It was not repairable. I was able to swap it for another pair, and was religiously careful with them. 57 days later, the same thing happened when I picked them up. The Holbrook Metals are one of the more expensive styles, but they're absolute junk. The lens edges are incredibly fragile and you can't get replacements when they break.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The Bestest Ever! I forgot to bring my older Oakley sunglasses on a trip to Thailand so I picked up a pair of these Holbrooks. Wow! What great glasses. They are very light and look good but the most outstanding feature is the lens. The light filtering really works superbly and certainly makes things much more distinct. Colors really do pop when wearing these glasses. It's hard to keep from moving them up and down to compare your vision with and without looking thru the lenses. These glasses are also excellent for riding a motorcycle. The only downside was that I let my wife try them and it was hard to get them back. In fact we had to get her a pair when we got back to the States.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Second pair! This will be my second pair of Holbrook metals, the first of which were green lenses. I live at 10,000ft and am very close to the sun. Dogs nees glasses to prevent blindness. These glasses have served their purpose in durability, practicality, and style. I was so impressed with my previous pair I purchased these to complement. Albeit these are actually visually yellow tinted when worn, they appear dark. Great use for cloudy but caught days which are common here. I recommend for those looking to for a sunglass for daily style wear, but not so much for practical work wear. Relatively fragile lenses that will scratch with sufficient contact however extremely durable and temperate frames.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Great fit, very poor design I got these because they looked and felt great over all the Oakley's I have owned in the past. After just a little over a year, the microscopically thin lip around the lens edge dried out, cracked and the lens fell out. It was not repairable. The Holbrook Metals are one of the more expensive styles and one of the best fit, but they're absolute junk. The lens edges are incredibly fragile and you can't get replacements when they break.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from less than perfect build quality and lens broke out Just a couple months in, I notice the lens start to break away from the grooves that they sit in. You'd know what I'm talking about if you knew the model. The lens is now almost completely broken out of the metal frame. I have done nothing to cause this, just light, less than daily use. also, one of the arms was loose when it is folded out to be put on. Maybe its just a defect. I tried to go through the warranty claims, but it was way too confusing and never got anywhere. I'm stuck with broken Oakley's.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Prism lenses rule! Love these sunglasses. Won't go back to any lenses that aren't Prism
