About the frame

Inspired by the counter-culture look of the 1960's, but designed to put you ahead of the curve, Ray-Ban Rounds are the newest icon shape. These dramatic round sunglasses in shiny gold have an etched metal bridge, rivets and green lenses. Crafted from metal, these frames are flexible yet strong and hypoallergenic. Super skinny temples add a vintage vibe and keep everything in place.$pngalpha$&wid=680&defaultimage=805289439899_shad_qt

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Lenon retro for a new milennia I owned a pair of these Raybans in the '70's and was thrilled when I heard that Rayban was re-issued these classic frames! John Lennon may have made them famous but they were already uber-cool! The teen-something clerk at SGH described them as "the next BIG thing" when I was trying them on. I just smirked at him and said, "Oh honey... these were the next big thing when long before you were even an EGG!" I don't think he got it. Oh well, they are still uber-cool. We can only hope that one day, the younger folks will understand that everything old is new again!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Super cool comes back again. It's funny how fashion repeats itself. This style was the rage in the 60's when the ultimate hipsters wore them. Of course they had the totally round frames back then. These new lenses are a brilliant update from the classic round lenses. They oval taper slightly on top giving a really unique look. The bridge gap between the lenses is a wide 21 mm, so these fit comfortably if you have a thicker nose. The gold frames really set these off well and the crystal glass gives comfort and quality. The field of vision is almost as good as the Aviator lenses, so you won't have your eyeballs rotating to find the open areas around the frame edges. Get them in polarized for extra protection and you will stand out from the crowd with these retro-cool shades. Groovy, baby!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from great everything! It was my dream since I was a kid to buy genuine Ray-Ban. Now I can say: I'm so happy I did it! Perfect everything: fast delivery, courteous service and the most important good quality of sunglasses. Thank you, for doing your best to make people happy!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Back to the future I have been looking for a pair of quality sunglasses that take me back to earlier times... John Lennon - these sunglasses take me back to the later years of the Beatles and the style they invoked - love them!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Cute look, extremely poor quality I loved the look of these sunglasses so I was so happy when I got them for my birthday just a few months ago. Unfortunately, how cute they are does not make up for the poor quality of these sunglasses. From day one I felt like they were way too big and slid of my face, I went back to the store to have them tightened and it did not help. The metal sides are so flimsy I can not put the sunglasses on my head when walking inside, they fall right off. Flimsy metal, uncomfortable to wear because they just slide off- probably not worth the buy. Sad because they really are so cute!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from First pair, first love These are actually my first pair of Ray Bans lenses, and I can say that I am not disappointed. I am in love with the gold color of the frames and the color of the lenses. I would say the material is durable, as countless times I'm pretty sure I've put pressure on it. Regardless, the round shape is definitely in style. I've received a good amount of compliments for my glasses. Definitely worth it :)

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great look, but poor quality These are my third pair of ray bans, they look amazing but after wearing them out and about for a day one of the lenses bent in a weird way so that it doesn't fit properly.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Amazing style, poor material I bought these last week and the delivery was quick as expected, however the box it came in was already opened and the case was damp. The following day I put my glasses on the floor next to my bed and My 15lb Pomeranian decided to lay on them which resulted in the frame to completely snap off :( so disappointed in the material because I really loved the style of the glasses.
